- I was on the drill team at West Junior High.
- I had pet snakes, salamanders, and frogs growing up.
- I have been a rock hound for as long as I can remember. My best find was in Chester on the farm when I discovered my Grandma Barrett’s rock collection she had buried behind an old outhouse when she was a young girl.
- For some reason I “get” computers but am not necessarily a gadget person.
- The biggest reason I don’t like watching sports is because I am positive that I jinx the team I am rooting for. Every time I have tried to follow a team they start losing. It is my fault Gonzaga lost last year, I just know it!
- Poppies are my favorite flowers but I can’t seem to grow them.
- I have double arched feet.
- My Dad has always been my advocate, even when I didn’t deserve it.
- I have never made a pie from scratch.
- When we go camping I like to be the one to set up the tent…all by myself (that sounds like a certain 3 year old I know).
- I can wiggle my ears.
- Either my tongue is long enough to touch my nose or my nose is big enough to reach my tongue.

You are NOT a jinx when it comes to sports!! Where did you keep the black mouse??? You are almost done with the list!!
I rescued the black mouse from science class! He lived in my room in a cage until one day it got out while my mom was cleaning house. She tried to catch it with a strainer with a handle and accidentally squished it! True story.
No wonder she remembers! What about the Peking Duck??
Well, I bought a duck. Since I was at school it imprinted on Mom and our dog Brandy. It got too big and mean after awhile and we let it go at a friend's cabin in Lincoln. We would stop and check on it on our way through Lincoln and it was there for many, many years.
I'm with you on the tent thing! :)
