Ronda had been thinking of making a corned beef and cabbage dinner for Sunday. Lon had been wanting to come hang out on the deck and enjoy the nice weather since there isn't any "outdoor" hangouts at the apartment that they stay in during the winter. So, we invited Papa Joe and Melissa down for dinner. Dinner was done and everyone was getting settled at the table outside when I came back in for something or other. I heard something, Ronda was still in the kitchen and I asked her if she heard anything. The noise just wasn't registering in my brain quick enough. Then all of a sudden it dawned on me that I was hearing water! I ran into the kid's bathroom and the water was running full blast and overflowing the sink onto the floor....everywhere. There was a wash rag stuck in the drain. I yelled for Ronda and she came running and we giggled as we got it cleaned up lickety split soaking up 4 towels worth of water. These are the towels this morning, I forgot to bring them and they were steaming as the frost was melting on them.

My "glass is half full" thoughts about this are:
- The kids were washing their hands by themselves without our help
- I needed to mop the bathroom floor and countertop anyway
- We caught it before any damage was done
My thought to ponder today is this: If one wanted to be optimistic, would one say the sink is half full or the sink is half empty?
