I'm in the middle of cooking dinner and I just had to stop what I was doing to write down the girls' conversation. They have been running around since we got home and vaguely heard their comments about "remote controls," "rescuing," "emergency calls," that sort of thing. Avery always gets interested in what I am doing in the kitchen and she noticed on the counter a violin card that she hasn't finished. She sat down to color and Kyndra sat down to do her homework from the weekend (oops).
Avery started to say, "Kyn....," and was rudly interrupted by her big sister saying "No, no, I'm Super Girl, or you can call me Police Girl, and also Spider Girl."
"Ok, Super Girl..."
"No, no, if someone needs saving call me Super Girl. If someone is dead or hurt or needs help call me Police Girl. If you need me to climb up something call me Spider Girl."
"How about Wonder Woman," I chimed in.
"Nah," said Superpolicespidergirl.
"Ok, Super Girl...."
"No, no, talk to me through the remote control."
"Ok, Super Girl, I just want to tell you that I am starting to see letters I know! Look, y and c, I know those."
I love that they can entertain themselves with out TV, video games, or me. I love their imagination. I love how they are such great friends. I love that AJ is learning her letters. I love my two little action figures.

This is so cute! I have so little imagination anymore!
I was such a "tom boy" that when my brother and I would pretend superheros I wanted us to be Batman and Robin, or other male duos! I did not think Wonder Woman was good enough!
I know who is going to be my first call when I need help! Way to go Super Girl!
I, also, often have the privilege of chauffering a super hero. I'll let Tony know he has more junior crimefighters.
