2008 Goals

Ever since New Years Eve I have been thinking about blogging my resolutions. That way, they are in print, online, for everyone to see. My reasoning was that maybe if everyone read my resolutions, maybe I'd feel more obligated to keep them. Last night while walking the dog, it occurred to me that I should call them "goals," not "resolutions." Now today, Melisa has posted a challenge to us all to set a goal for ourselves for the new year! Melisa's challenge was to set a goal a goal for the next 24 hours, I want to set some for the year. But still! Do great minds think alike or what?

Here are the goals I have come up with for myself:
24 hour goal = Find something for Pam's birthday and get it in the mail!
Year goal #1 = Run most of Bloomsday. Running all of Bloomsday might be over the top, so I am settling for most.
Year goal #2 = Get better at playing my guitar, not great, not excellent, just better.

Okay, I did it, once I press the Publish Post button these are written in stone. Yike!

Yeah Stacy... good goals. I haven't thought about that yet. I had better get to it!!! Today it feels like my goal is mere survival. We are going sledding on the 13th :)

three times came here to post my comment, three times interrupted. My goal for the year is to 'stay on track' rather than "Feed a Pig a Pancake". and pick up the banjo so we can make music together. :)
