I was making lunch and heard the sound no parent wants to hear......the raining down of a gazillion perler beads onto the floor.
The kids love these things.
They play with them for hours.
Everyone we know has a perler creation, or two.
They were all over my floor!

Kyndra spilled the bucket while searching for the coveted clear white sparkle bead.
Avery dove to the floor to start cleaning them up.
Kyndra continued working!
I grabbed my camera, two sweepers and we all got busy.
I still spy a couple of stragglers on the floor.
I think the dog just ate one.
We'll be finding them for days, yet life goes on :o)
Here is Avery's comment about the situation:
"Mama, it scared me when Kyndra did that, it freaked me out."

There are 137 less than last night because I persevered and stuck with it making that star for Avery till it was done!!! I gave up looking for the sparkly ones! I cannot imagine all 7931 on the floor! A Classic Kyndra Act...continuing to work! :) I will hang my latest creation from Kyndra, a black and neon green dolphin in the truck with pride!
What you need is more beads. There's a birthday coming up, right?

What is the Statute on how long one must actually KEEP and display these 'works of art'?
Shouldn't there be a limit on the number that rest on the window sill?
Is there a proper buriel ritual for perler bead creations?

I ain't got none of them there perler beads at my house. I think I need to run to the store. I feel left out. You tell Kyndra and Avery I would be on my best behavior if they would let me play with them next time.
