Tiny Treasures

My sister, Pam, and her family have been living in Okinawa since last summer. In just a short time, she and her girls found all the fun places to shop. One of which is a 100 yen store. They have been sending many treasures our way. I love them all and I can wrap them up in one word...TINY!

Here, have some tiny sushi,
or a tiny key chain.
The girls love these tiny dolls.
Tiny tea, anyone?
How about a tiny rice cooker for some tiny rice.
Nothing was overlooked. There is even a tiny drawer set to hold all the tiny treasures
(this may have given me a tiny nervous breakdown)
Notice it's not finished.
It's not finished because the instructions are written in tiny Japanese!
I think this is going to be put on a tiny shelf until this summer when Pam is here. We can have a tiny glass of wine and finish it together.
I hope your laughing, Pam, because I am.
I love all these treasures, the girls love them more.
Thanks for sharing your experience in Japan with us.

"Tiny" treasures are definitely the most cherished. I love it.

Kyndra is quite a collector of tiny treasures too!!! I have to be very careful when "sorting" toys as the oddest items are of the greatest value.

Those cute, teeny-tiny things are erasers, aren't they? Maybe not the 'dolls', but the food is, I think. Are they suppose to fit in the teeny tiny drawers? You are doing a good job reading the instructions:)

You MUST have your sister buy you some Morinaga Hi-chew candy when she is there. IT IS WONDERFUL. It is a soft chew...I love grape and pink grapefruit. I would recommend she send you a case...you know...to share. :-)

p.s. You can buy it @ the 100 Yen store.

This reminds me of all the tiny little polly pockets that my niece so loved. Tiny is cute, tiny is fun, but most of all.... tiny is tiny and it hurts when you step on it. So it's a good thing that all the tiny stuff can go in the tiny drawers!

These tiny things may be the death of me. Each girl now has a collection of approximately 40 erasers - EACH. They spend hours taking them apart and putting them back together. I'll look for that candy - it sounds familiar.
