We have bikes, scooters, big-wheels, garden tools...you name it.
This is where they play.
This is where they play.

These four kids have been playing and playing over the last few days. Hunter lives across the street and I just love that he comes over (even tho he walks right in the house) and plays with the girls and Landon. It brings back memories of growing up on Avenue D and all the friends we had on our block. Such great memories: kick the can, hide and seek, big-wheel down the hill, mud pies...you name it. It's fun watching my kids in the process of building some of those same memories.

Looks like everyone was enjoying the spring sunshine. Were you climbing a tree or shooting out an upstairs bedroom window? I'm scared of height so for me it couldn't be the tree option.
Yeah neighborhood fun... This is something I want for my kids. It will be hard parting with our current location, because we are neighbors with the Sokoloskis :(
Your girls will have fond memories of spring days with the kids on the block.
What wonderful memories you are capturing through picutres......childhood memories are always something to look back on with fondness!
LOVE the quote under your profile picture!!!
So much truth in it! :-)
this is awesome! I love watching my boys play with their little friends!
Stacy vs Ruggy. ha!
that is definitely an advantage of living in town... probably something that my boys will never experience...
great photos... love the "bugs story"
I think it's fun with neighbor kids too! I lived in the country when I was younger and didn't have that, but always wanted it!
Loved your post on pig latin too! My third grader can figure it out before my husband!
Stacy, you're posts and pictures always remind me that it is ok to take some time to remember those childhhod memories. Playing with my hotwheels cars, swimming in the muddy irrigation ditch or building snow forts. So glad to see that someone's children are making great memories!!!
