Mom's friend Mary

Why in the world would I do a digi-page with 3 girls eating sandwiches? Well, let me tell you a story. Every time we visit my parents house in Montana there is a baking angel that visits our house. This angel leaves our family exactly two dozen sandwich rolls (one white and one wheat) and two Pull-Apart Caramel Sticky Buns. Our angel's name is Mary.

Mary is from Chester, MT. She was in my mom's brother, Monty's, class. Her sister is California Patty who was in Mom's class. Patty is the mother of Tracy and Tim, who I remember from family gatherings and Chester class reunions. My mom spent a lot of time visiting with Mary and Patty's parents throughout the years. It's so amazing to me how people from small towns find each other and know what each other are doing once they move on to bigger cities.

I can honestly say it is never an expectation of her, we are always truly surprised and grateful for her generosity and time. I don't know if Mary knows how much this gift means to our family. I'm not sure we knew until this last visit. Our two car loads of girls arrived at Mom and Dads and a few days passed when Morgan asked, "Is Mary going to bring over any of her pie." Mom just explained to her that Mary was busy and maybe she doesn't know we all were there and...well, I don't know what else. Just then a car pulls up and there she was...our angel, carrying her two boxes of baked goodies. All the girls(and one boy) lined up to show their gratitude. I'm sure Mary hadn't made it home (she lives a block from my parents) before AJ came asking if we could have some "pie" for dessert. It's true, this time the Sticky Buns didn't even make it to the morning.

If you read this Mary, know you are loved and appreciated. Your sandwich rolls were lunch on the Missouri River and your "pies" didn't last 2 days. Thank you for all you do for our family!
