Amazing Space

This Amazing Space is my parents' sun room.
Actually, it's just one corner of the sun room.
I was trying out my new camera's wide angle stitching feature.
I waited until the last day, I ran out of time, so I didn't finish.
If you peer down the right side of the last picture you can get a peek of the rest of the room.
Mom has it packed full of treasure.
Family treasures from the farm, from the river, from artists they love, from their travels.
It runs the length of the house.
There are windows on one whole side.
There is two sliding glass door entrances.

It's always warm, it's always sunny.
No matter what time of year, there is a plant flowering.
These plants are in a churn from the farm.
This is a family pump organ.
Way down on the other wall is a macramé mom made one summer.

There are tea sets, blue glass jars, marbles, seashells, and glass door knobs.
You can find pictures, crafts, and art projects.
There is a chest full of stuffed animals, a macarena gorilla and a dancing flower.
A person can spend hours in this amazing space just looking, reading, napping, being.
One day...I'll have my own amazing space...I hope it makes my heart smile like this one does.

Wow - to be able to "see" and then describe it all, you made me feel like I was there, I felt the sun on my face, felt its warmth, laughed at the gorilla...
I could read your writings all day long, while lounging in the sun room!

I've got my space...it just isn't just so, yet. It is in need of a small space makeover. One of these days I will get it designed into my dream space.
