My little girlies are growing up.
More and more I find I can ask them to do things to help out.
They both love helping:
setting the table,
feeding the dogs,
washing windows...
Lately we have been "practicing" using the phone to call me.
Someday I might regret this night, but we had a giggle fest while it lasted.
Today Kyndra wanted me to make her a fruit salad.
I was busy working,
(my office is now my home due to all the flu going around),
and i gave them fruit, knives, cutting boards, and a bowl and said "go for it kid."
They had such a great time!
They even peeled the apples (something I'd never think to do).
This bowl was gone before dinner started!
Love it!

I love having big girls. Sure I will miss the sweet things they did when they were little...but with each stage there is new fun to be found.
-And, regarding the calling... Grace learned my cell phone number and I was so tickled. I felt like she was safer because she knew it and I knew she could always find me... yeah, well I had 17 missed phone calls in 3 minutes during Friday's in-service. Be careful what you wish for! :-)
