I'm not scared of creepy crawlies...
just ask the kids I grew up with...
I owned them! literally
My girls pick up bugs...but they don't have them as pets and I decided it's time to change that.
Yep...you got it...I bribed them.
"I'll give ya a dollar if you get that spider out of the tub."
Off they ran...this is what I found by the time I grabbed my camera.
Kyndra on the stool..Avery leaning over to get it.
No big surprises there...
then it JUMPED!
I was laughing so hard I couldn't get a picture that wasn't a total blur.
AJ crying
Kyndra laughing
Me giggling
Then Kyndra had a "great idea...use Mama's shoe to squish it."
first lean in really far without touching it...
and squish it!
mind you...this is how big the spider was...
Kyndra's job was to pick up the spider....
giggling her way to the toilet...
OOPS!
No spider kiddo...no dollar!

When we were there I washed an itsy bitsy spider down the drain before taking my bath one day!! It must have crawled back up the water spout! Maybe a whole family is living down there .... lots of dollars for A and K.
Grace is our Professional Spider Killer. Unless they are big enough that they ~crunch~ when you squish them, she is pretty reliable.
My technique is to get a big enough wad of tp and scoop, but not squish it. Then to the flusher it is...
Hey guys - you should have seen the spider we had to kill last night!!! Scared Sydney to death - she almost choked on toothpaste spit! This job called for Dan and the raid can . . . glad your spider wasn't an Okinawa Spider! ugh . . . miss you tons!
Too funny! It would take more than a dollar to get my kids to touch a spider!! Even through a towel!!
