Hot Dog and Black Cats

We got over excited this year about carving th pumpkins that they were mush before Halloween even got here.  The bat pumpkin was from Papa's garden.  It was so ripe and smelled so good...but had no seeds for us to bake!

The girls and I found this cute costume for Shad!  The first time we put it on her she squirmed right out of it.  Mom added a strap for the chest and Shad stood there...looking...not thinking it was funny at all.  By the time Halloween came around, tho, she was ready to go with a little catchup and mustard, of course!
The hot dog meets the cats.
Kyndra, Avery, and Mom worked on their costumes over several weeks.  The girls decided to dress like their kitties, Popcorn and Puddles.
Here is Popcorn.
Here is Puddles.
My little kitties in the crab apple tree.
Our pumpkins were filled after trick-or-treating down our street and back.  My costume lasted about a block..party pooper I know.  The girls stuck with the pack of kids from the block and had a great time.

I remember trick-or-treating in below zero weather!  We always felt like the Michelin Man with our big coats under our costumes. We definitely lucked out this year with friends, good weather, and lots of candy.

What gramma wouldn't be overexcited/overstimulated/overwhelmed with all the fun, new happenings in Gt. Falls!!! This gramma enjoys being 'off her rocker' and intends to stay there so, what's next on the agenda? Thanksgiving Feast? :)
