We Egress

The basement of our new house has an awesome space for the girls bed/play room.
Big closets.
Lots of space.
Peg board walls for hanging treasures.
One problem...no fire escape.
Patton Egress to the rescue!
I wonder how much a business like this spreads by word of mouth.
My neighbors had an egress window put in.
I saw it and said, "that's exactly what I need!"
I get an egress window.
My parents say, "thats exactly what we need!"
Anyway...I egress (hee hee)
They started at 8:30 a.m.
bye bye nasty juniper tree
By lunch they were cutting concrete.
The trim was being done by the time school was out.
Voila! Eight hours later this beautiful, safe window was in place.
Can you believe it?
8 hours!
It's awesome...they did an awesome job and I'm so happy they now can sleep safely.
For all those thinking that this will be a perfect escape for two teenage girls.
Believe me...I'm all over it.
I have a plan!

I couldn't believe how easy that project was and what a difference it made in the basement. The guys told me it would be 'too much work' to put one in our basement because of the existing gas line and water system. boo!!
