As luck would have it, we got over 5 inches of new snow the night before Grandma's party.
My driveway was clear yesterday!
Luckily Dad has this great snowblower and spikes on his feet.
We drove the ladies up and down the driveway.
Avery helped make the fruit bouquet while Kyndra curled up on the couch not feeling well.
I'm not sure what Mom did to crack Avery up but it's always something.
This was the first party I've hosted at my new house and it turned out really great.
There are power outlets on the floor, lights under the cabinets, and lots of space to put food and visit.
Here is the beautiful birthday lady.
I admire my grandma so much..she can hardly hear or see but you would never know by watching her.
She is still as poised and in charge as ever.
Mom and Grandma
(who was the photographer and why didn't' she take those shades off grandma's head?)
Then there were the ladies who braved the snow to come to the party.
Many people had to turn around en-route due to the snow.
I have known these wonderful friends my entire life.
Cousin Carl joined the ladies briefly...it was great to see him before he headed back North to the ranch.
It was a great party for an amazing lady.
Thanks to all who came.
Now there is the task of eating all of the food left over!

Thanks for posting. Wish I could have been there. I'm getting tired of saying that sentence. Only a few more months... Looks like the party was a true success! Our spirits were with you all. Give her a hug for me tonight. Love and hugs to all - P
Looks like you all had a great time- preparing, hosting, and receiving. Yes, your Grandmother is an amazing woman who I enjoy to the fullest.
Will see her in a few weeks.
Love Diana
oh my, what a nice day that was! Today is the 'real birthday' with more treats to come. Bob McKinnon will play his banjo this afternoon at The Plaza. Afterwards Lila and I will serve cake left over from the party Sunday. Birthday Girl will come back to our house and when Stacy comes after work, we'll toast our special lady with a well deserved glass of wine before dinner at Jaker's. What a 90th birthday!!
BRrrrrr. Can't say I wish I was there with you right now. I wish I wasn't even here... I wish I was on the sandy tropical beaches of ANYWHERE.
Happy Birthday to a most amazing lady!
