100 49 Things About Me

  1. I graduated from Charles Marion Russell High School.
  2. I spent a summer on the slime line in Sitka, Alaska.
  3. My favorite candy is Dots and Twizzlers.
  4. I played the flute in junior high.
  5. I have climbed Devils Tower and signed my name in the cammo box on the top.
  6. I like to be the captain on raft trips while Joe fishes.
  7. Faith Hill's song Breathe makes me gag.
  8. The Grateful Dead's Europe 72 album is my favorite.
  9. I drink at least 3 bottles of 32oz water a day.
  10. I take my dogs for a walk at least 5 days a week if I can.
  11. I have worked for Senator Max Baucus in Montana.
  12. My school swim team took, or tied for state all four years I was there.
  13. Cooked carrots make me gag, still.
  14. I have a Bachelors degree in Photography with a Minor in Business Management from Northern Arizona University.
  15. I have a Bachelors degree in Business Education with a Minor in Office Systems from the University of Montana.
  16. I have a Masters in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University.
  17. I like to think that I tried on photography following my Grandpa Dolderer, and politics following my Grandpa Barrett.
  18. I haven’t had lower than a 3.98 since my first degree.
  19. I am a true life-long-learner.
  20. Purple is my favorite color.
  21. My birthstone is amethyst.
  22. I brush my teeth in the shower.
  23. Someday I will pay to get my tattoos removed.
  24. I love Target but get totally overwhelmed with all the choices and end up standing there staring at everything, often times leaving with nothing.
  25. I have hiked down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back up in one day, and only cried once.
  26. I lived in the same house from the time I was born until I left for college.
  27. I never had to ride a school bus except for to swim meets and school field trips.
  28. I always loved it when my mom played the banjo on the bus to swim meets.
  29. I stink at wrapping presents.
  30. I had hip-dysplasia as a baby.
  31. I have to wear ear-muffs when it’s even a little breezy or I get an ear ache.
  32. My first daughter was almost delivered in the car; I was 8cm walking into the hospital.
  33. I like soy sauce on my popcorn and mac-n-cheese.
  34. All 4 people in my immediate family are teachers.
  35. I badly sprained my arm doing a flip-flop off the top of a swing set.
  36. I can still do flip flops but choose not to.
  37. I have seen the Grateful Dead in concert 3 times.
  38. I also have seen Guns N Roses, Metallica, AC/DC, and Santana in concert.
  39. I have never been overseas, but will some day.
  40. I have always wanted to know how to fly a plane.
  41. The first vehicle that was “mine” was a standard shift Toyota 4x4 truck.
  42. My mom’s maternal grandparents parents homesteaded to Chester, Montana and my mom’s dad was actually on a wagon train that came into the Missoula area.
  43. I love Taco Bell (double decker tacos yum).
  44. It drives me crazy to leave the house when it is messy.
  45. I was missing 8 permanent teeth (including wisdom teeth) and have had 12 fake teeth since I was 18.
  46. I really enjoy yogurt covered pretzels.
  47. I was on the high school golf team for one season and I actually broke the head of a club off by hitting a stake in the ground that was holding up a tree.
  48. My dad is an excellent golfer (and was the coach when I was attempting to be on the team).
  49. A hair dresser actually once called me “hair retarded.”

First of all, I LOVE the post Title! I am giggling so much that I can hardly make a comment. :) There are lots of things I learned about you that I didn't know. Let's just say that mine are not this "deep". I can hardly wait for the next 51...even if they only come in ones and twos or 17! Until then...just breathe! hehe

I am with you on # 49... one side flips one way.. the other side doesn't flip at all.
I always wanted straight hair... but, then again... I guess I should be thankful that I have hair at all! :)
