Chalk Tree

Today I stayed home with the three kiddos. We rode bikes around the "Pineapple Park," had a picnic in the back of the pickup, they helped me put all the recycling stuff in the big bins, then violin, dinner, and swimming lessons. In between all of that they found time to start coloring their Chalk Tree. This poor tree is rainbow hued from spring to fall. They even wanted me to put them in the tree so they could color the "whole thing!"

For me, it was a much needed sign of warm weather, good friends, and best of all playing outside.
