Kissing Flower

We were out in the garden checking out the flowers and Kydnra and Avery discovered our first tulips of the Spring. Kyndra asked if they were kissing flowers. I wondered what she meant by kissing flowers and she said, "you know, because they go like this," as she puckered up into a kiss.

Today is a heavy day. Our family made the difficult decision to put my Grandpa in a care home so that Grandma can get her hips replaced. He has become a full-time job and Grandma just isn't able to do it all and take care of herself at the same time. The home is nice, the people are trained and caring, he is in good hands....yet it is still heartbreaking. My Mom and Grandma are brave and are trying to stay strong. I feel helpless being so many miles away and can only support them by listening, praying, and being a presence for Grandpa and Grandma through snail mail. I love you all!

When you look at the tulip buds today think of us all sending kisses and hugs across the miles through the kissing flowers!

If we could all see life through the eyes of a child! Thanks for sharing Kyndra's insight. As tulips are one of my favorite flowers, I will never look at them the same. :)

Many hugs and prayers are being sent to Montana. Peace.

Lo and Behold! we have Kissing Flowers here, too! Thank you, Kyndra, for your keen observation! Kisses to you over there in Oregon....each and every one of you.
