Hair

Both of my girls were born with a head of hair. Kyndra's was at least an inch long. While Avery's wasn't quite that long or thick she had beautiful curls. Each morning and after every bath we go through the routine of brushing out the tangles and putting it up in hair do-dahs. More often than not there are tears involved. The other night they wanted to brush each other's hair and they just had a ball. Through our hairy experiences, I have come to understand:
  • why my mom chopped my hair off when I was 6 years old
  • why I chopped my own hair off after Avery was born
  • it's easier to French braid wet hair
  • French braids don't come out very easy after swimming
  • mothers of boys lucked out in this area
  • ponytails don't fit in bike helmets
  • cutting very thick hair is not as easy as it looks
  • it does not matter if hair do-dahs do not match the outfit if it is the one the child picked out!

Love it! Love both of their heads of hair! Love when I get to "do" their hair! Lately Landon has been "doing" MY hair!
