5th Birthday Party
Five years ago today Joe and I made the speedy drive to Walla Walla ...Kyndra was on her way, and coming fast! Joe's pressure on the gas petal was directly proportional to the speed at which I was contracting, I went through the transition stage in the truck and walked into the delivery room at 8cm. Hard to believe 5 years has passed. Hard to fathom she'll be walking in the doors of kindergarten soon. Hard to imagine how my screaming-mohawk-haired little girl turned out to be such a joy. Five is fun! She is so full of life, questions, personality, and don't forget attitude.
We had Kyndra's birthday party last weekend. On the agenda was tie-dying t-shirts, balloon races, balancing a ball on a spoon races, water guns, and a scavenger hunt. The kids had a blast with the races and scavenger hunt and the moms had fun with the t-shirts. I'll keep you posted on how they turned out. Such a fun afternoon was made possible with amazing friends, good food, decent weather, and great kids!
