I can't believe I haven't taken a picture since Kyndra's birthday. Things have just been a whirlwind at work and at home. But it's almost over. One more big event tomorrow and Montana here we come.
We spent a wonderful day at "The Big House" for Father's Day, took a nice hike and everything, but I just didn't bring the camera along. I was proud of my little AJ for hiking all the way to the top of the mountain without being carried even once. You were right, Mom, for not "letting me" carry her last time even though she cried the entire way. She made it twice as far this time without a whimper. It was a beautiful evening up there, we even saw an elk calf.
I have tried to start making my piles for our trip. However, my helping hands can spread the stuff back out as fast as I can pile it so I have given up for now. If we forget anything we'll actually be in a town that has a Target, yippee! Joe has been going on a few walks at night to "train" for a 16 mile round trip hike he is going to do with Dan! Yikes, I am nervous for him. I have been hogging the walks for the last several months so he is sort of out of shape. I hope he can make it. I packed a first aid kit with some mole-skin for his blisters and a heating pad for his sore muscles. now all we need is an epi-pin for the bees. I am sure he'll be fine, sore the next day, but happy.
I just want to blink my eyes and be home, not endure the 10 hour drive with two non-sleepers. **sigh** Anybody know any good prayers for patience? Well, my next post will be from 600 miles to the East. Wish us luck.

soft clouds and blue skies waiting for you in Montana! Looks like a good week for hiking, boating and camping in the back yard. Bring 'block-out' and mosquito repellent. See you in 36 hours!
Home sick......I'm not planning a trip to Montana until August when all of the family will meet in Lewistown for the 50th Anniversary. Enjoy your Montana vacation and breath that wonderful air from the Big Sky!!!! Happy thoughts for you. Sad for me...must wait 52 more days!
