Avery's First Lesson

After much anticipation, we finally met Hillary, Avery's violin teacher. We were disappointed that Peg wasn't taking any new students but she had a great recommendation. Hillary is a former student of Peg's who now takes lessons from someone in Portland and gives lessons herself out of her home. What a cute gal!

Avery wouldn't get too close to her and didn't speak...the entire time. All-in-all it went pretty good, though. It is funny how much I have forgotten already. It was just 2 years ago when we were here with Kyndra and Landon. It's hard to imagine them being so little. Kyndra started on a 1/16th violin and Avery is starting on a 1/10th. So, she is actually bigger than Kyndra! Keep an eye out for Avery's podcast. It'll be showing up as soon as she learns her first song.
