We did it again, we drove all the way to Montana in one day. At our dinner stop in Missoula around 7 (Mt. time) we decided that we wouldn't get to sleep in a hotel until late so we might as well drive. The girls both slept about 1/2 hour to an hour the entire trip. I would be lost without a portable DVD player.
Things have been busy with Grandpa, shopping, playing, feeding ducks but the highlight so far for me was spending some time with my friends. Some of whom I have not seen for almost 10 years! I stayed out entirely too late and probably drank entirely too much but it was just so great to catch up. It reminded me that I must never let 10 years go by without seeing them again. I have a picture on my phone, its crummy, but I'll see what I can do once I get it on the computer.
Have you ever taken a video with your camera that saves sideways and you can't edit the .mov file with Quicktime to turn it around? I found out that if you download and install the Kodak EasyShare software, even if you don't have a Kodak camera, you can use that to rotate the image.

Glad you made it to Montana safely. Are the girls using headphones with the DVD player yet? Last year was our 1st successful trip entirely with headphones. LOVED IT! Got Marc Sirrus radio for Christmas...so we may even have tunes the entire way this summer.
