Every time we are on a beach here we go on a treasure hunt.
We hunt for shells, sea glass, and china pottery. This is what sea glass looks like.
Here is our booty from Okuma Beach
Pam is going to make some sort of mosaic out of all the pottery.
Isn't it pretty?
These are a couple of my favorites:
I'm coming home with some of everything.
We plan to have some jewelery made out of the sea glass...I can't wait!
Where does it come from?
I have no idea and neither does Pam.
But we love it!

How cool! Looks like an awesome trip!! So glad you got to experience it! Can't wait to see your jewelry!
Beautiful! It takes me back to the four years we lived in Hawaii when I was a child. I wish I had all the sea glass we collected. What a wonderful keepsake from your visit.
And I wonder why you find so much there and not on our beaches?
oh man that would make such a beautiful mosaic table top for a little patio table!!
I LOVE your finds!! Can't wait to see your creations!!
Cool! Will the girls be disappointed to just find plain rocks when they get back home? Jewelry would be awesome!
You hit the jackpot with all that colorful glass! The china is intriguing, too, and would have a great story to tell. There's a possibility it's from the ship, BrMoSy-KyAvy, that was lost during the ChingChangChung Dynasty, 1308 B.C., and is just now tumbling it's way to the surface. It's worth a million memories.
Your banner is awesome!
My husband's aunt says that Sea Glass is from broken glass in the ocean that is smoothed by the sand and salt. Due to the oceanic ins & outs, our beaches don't have as much.
Love all of the wonderful colors! Blue is the most desireable (or so my hubby's aunt says) because it's not as common as the other colors.
Enjoy your time visiting and can't wait to see what jewelry will be made from the sea glass.
LOVE it!
