Here is the story, I got talked into the Sunday paper by the guy at the What Women Want Expo because evidently what women want is the ads in the Sunday paper. I was sitting drinking coffee reading my Sunday paper and saw an ad for the corn maze. What a great idea, its a beautiful day, lets go to the corn maze...next time I'll check the time because we arrived early. Luckily we had plenty of time to go back home to get our hiking boots...after almost getting stuck turning around in the parking lot I thought it might be wise.
Walter Breuning was the theme for the corn maze in Vaughn this year and this was the maze.
Since we were the first ones there we had the corn boxes all to ourselves for awhile. These were so fun! Big boxes of corn...really reminded me of playing in the wheat on the farm when we were kids.
We spent over an hour just enjoying all of the things they have set up out there before heading into the maze. There was a slide, a spider web net, hay bale jumping area, a corn tunnel, duck races, and "rides".
This was the corn ball...hee hee hee.
Jumping on the jumping bales.
This is the corn...a bit shorter than we use to find in Walla Walla.
We grew every step of the way! The corn and mud made a perfect high heel...isn't that what women want?
The duck races were fun...they spent a lot of time here.
It was a fun day...we came home with some pumpkins and some kernels of corn for Papa to plant.
p.s. driving back home I noticed a snow covered mountain in the Little (or is the Big) Belts!

Women Want FUN!! and you had a fun day. Aren't you glad you signed up for a Sunday paper?
looks like fun, but hiking around in two foot tall corn in montana is something of a novelty in and of itself! "you know youre in montana when . . . your corn maze is not really maze and the people who are in the maze can see one an other, and they look like they're marching around looking for a lost coin."
Looks like we had the same idea this weekend, but yours looked less crowded and more fun! We didn't participate in too much at the one we found. Girls look cute and your pictures are awesome, like always! :)
