Round-Up Racers

There was a little bit of anticipation yesterday before the track meet.

We were there early so there was time to talk to boys. . .

oh yes. . . that is what the three ladies are doing.

Then there was plenty of time in line to get over the jitters.

Finally!

Kyndra, Makenzie, and Avery got to . . .

jump!	jump!	jump!

and

run!	throw!

I smiled and giggled the entire time.

My cheering partner . . .

We cheered extra loud when Avery was running her very first relay race. These little kids, ages 5-6, had never passed a baton before. They were just told where to stand and to . . .

run!	run!

One last thing . . . I'm burning the candle at both ends right now . . . sometimes I feel like something has to go, or give. When I see the happiness and pure enjoyment on the face of my girls I know I can hang in there . . . that it's worth it.

First Track Meet

Track.

Kyndra is in track this year.

I love it.

They are so organized.

Kyndra loves it.

She grins the entire time.

Makenzie...loved it by the end of the meet.

She was a bit nervous

But, she was enjoying herself by the end.

They did long jump,

shot put,

javelin,

the 50m and the 100m.

This is the last shot I got before my batteries died...

Next time...

there will be a next time.

Tooth and Track

Here is Kyndra's tooth last weekend....and here it is this weekend.

It came out Friday at daycare during rest time. What did the Tooth Fairy bring? Nothing! Kyndra was letting that tooth hang by a thread because she wanted it to last until her birthday which is next Wednesday. So, she has decided to wait to put it under her pillow for her birthday. I wonder if that is what I did and ended up forgetting my tooth in the fairy pillow.

I think she ran faster today at the Hershy Track Meet without that extra tooth weight.

What a fun event for everyone. It's just a riot watching the little sweeties run their hearts out!
